1966-1973 Lamborghini Miura

With one stroke, Ferruccio Lamborghini made Enzo Ferrari look foolish and his cars appear obsolete. Lamborghini beat Ferrari to the punch, building the world´s first mid-engined supercar and the first with a quad-cam V12 engine.

Only three years after Lamborghini started making cars, the company produced the most exotic supercar the world had ever seen. It was as advanced as it was stunning, with its 4-liter V12 engine mounted behind the driver.
"The sensation of the 1966 Geneva Motor Show was also the sensation of the
decade. Now this superb Bertone design is before you, and as you slide into this
gorgeous automobile, you realize why this is still one of the most desired cars
ever built. Everything about this car is over-the-top: the colors, the sci-fi
body design, the power and even the zero body roll that tempts you to push until
it suddenly breaks away."

Milestones
